Is it a single poem? Or a collection of poems? Priya's Purple Kisses has some profound lines which read together appear to be a single poem but the contents have a different story to tell. And another story is contained in the beautiful illustrations by Niveditha Warrier. Had I not studied in my MA English course about the confluence of poetry and art, I may not have interpreted it in that way. It was a beautiful experience!
