Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
5.0
It took me almost a year to finish not because the story did not captivate me, but because it did the exact opposite.
This is the last installment for a series I have fallen in love with and I was dreading the separation anxiety and feeling of emptiness when I part - although inevitable - from it, so I tried my darnest to prolong Clockwork Princess as much as I could for if I still don't know the ending, it technically is not finished yet, right? Well, for me, at least.
But all good things must come to an end. I've finally finished it. A mere few minutes ago... and I have not slept a wink yet... so pardon me, my emotions and nerves are still all over the place as I write this down.
It has been a good journey, TID. The thought that there's still two book series about your world I can dive into soothes and relieves me. But for now...
Ave atque vale. Hail and farewell.
