i know this book is not meant to be a sad book, however, wow, some parts of it really made me tear up and i can't really tell how much i cried to some other parts-
idk when i finished reading this book i just loved it so much that i had to look up for the movie immediately. there are 4 different stories about 4 different people who travel in time for different purposes and i think each one of them is equally sad. i mean, even though all of the characters end up being okay in the end, i couldnt help feeling heartbroken at certain scenes or conversations.

i understand why some people might not have liked the book. sometimes the book can get a bit repetitive (i think this might be intentional, in order to allow people to read only one part of the book if they like to without actually missing much content), and the writing style is kind of simple but, in my opinion, it can still make you feel sadness, happiness or empathy towards the characters.

i just love the way some concepts such as joy and pain, or the past and the future are interwinded. it just makes everything painfully but beautifully comforting. i hope i get to re-read this book in a near future because i am sure it will bring me so much comfort <3
