Susanna Clarke's writing is so good! She really has a way of immersing the reader into the scenes. Her clear knowledge of fairy tales, myths, and legends and how she threads these into her own stories reminds me of Neil Gaiman. This particular book was a little slow at times, but I never thought it dragged or was unnecessarily long. I can't wait to read whatever she writes in the future!
