I have read the previous two books in this series and enjoyed them both but I absolutely loved this one. Having been a Prisoner Custody Officer, I'm not usually all that drawn to courtroom scenes in books, having been in so many over the years. But I absolutely got invested in this right from the beginning. I didn't see the twist with regards to a murder victim coming, although I did clock on to the killer. I loved that we delved a little more into Bosch and that he isn't a strait forward protagonist.

I am looking forward to reading the next one in due course and hoping it achieves the high that this one did.
