This book felt like a great balance between romance and plot. The slow-burn romance between Rune and Gideon had me kicking my feet and squealing the whole time. This book felt like the definition of swoon-worthy to me without taking too much away from progressing the plot of the story. The characters had so much depth and I really enjoyed getting to know them over the course of this book. I have already preordered the second book and can't wait to see how their journey ends!
