An enjoyable story with a cast of engaging characters, but the narrator’s mispronounciation of Malay words was extremely grating, as was the way she spoke the dialogue written in Malaysian-English vernacular.

Thankfully, I am being gifted the book for Christmas and will be reading it and trying to forget the audio narration!
