is this a five star book NO but did i say “goddamn this is a GOOD book” at least 20 times out loud while reading it on an 8-hour bus ride????? YES!!!!
cs pacat KNOWS how to write a smirky bitch boy and frankly that is all i want in this godforsaken world. in fact this book has TWO of them! also loved the “boyishly handsome” knight in shining armor violet. also loved the PLOT and the PROGRESSIONS because i am just a simple baby. the last few chapters!!!! wHEW boy! would i have paced this completely differently? would i have excised like 2/3 of the description? maybe! but cvs baby is in charge and i am grateful for her!
