Kids' book about a little boy with a serious medical condition affecting his face, and how he has to tackle his first year going to "real school" and all that entails.

This was a quick read and a good story. What made it stand out to me more than any other similar kids' book dealing with serious topics was that it didn't just give us Auggie's perspective - it included POVs from his sister, a friend, and other characters involved in Auggie's life. I thought that was a really valuable window in on more than just Auggie's own inner world, and how everyone struggled with the various challenges of the situation differently.
