Um, hello. What just happened? This is my first Sarah A. Parker book, and honestly — incredible. It’s super dense, information wise, and I feel like we’ve barely scraped the surface on what is going on. Like, after over 700 pages we’ve barely set the stage to what is a gigantic political twisty knot of chaos. As a character, Raeve is much of the same — she’s literally got layers to her body and past that we don’t know about. Hopefully book two will explore much of that, because while I don’t mind the occasional hints, I hope we finally get the full picture in the next book so that we can start moving forward with a solid goal. This world is super unique, and I think the concept of the dragons and what happens when they die is incredible. Kaan is a giant hunk of yum, and I look forward to more of him and Raeve. Preferably with more cock and less manhood 🫠🥴 lmao. A reread before the next book will absolutely be necessary as will a physical copy, because I will need to mark shit up and have easier access to the glossary.
