Easily five stars! This book did take me some time to get invested into it but once i did? I was all in. Bree has my heart. I love her so much. This book is more than I could have hoped! the minute i reached the 50% mark was when this book picked up the pace. I kid you not I stayed up until four a.m. to finish this book. I don’t regret a thing. I was completely captivated and so invested in Bree’s story. I was shedding tears for her, her mom, her ancestors! I loved seeing representation of grief at young age. Actually I loved the different representations this book had! There is a love triangle but trust me it’s not even important nor does it hold a light to the growth Bree has. Bree is the main character period. Loved the multi complexity that Bree has with being a blood crafter, root crafter, and ARTHUR!! So much to this story and I loved the journey of it. I am excited and nervous to see how the sequel with continue.
