I don’t know what it is, but I love reading about humble celebrities. This book was not only a great rom com, but the political commentary was great, and is the first book to include the pandemic that hasn’t made me feel weird to read. I loved the insight we got to the comedy show TNO (SNL) and what it’s like for a woman to be a successful writer on a comedy show like that. My only issue was with Sally, who after getting clear signs that Noah wants to be with her, turns small interactions around and over thinks them with her anxiety and insecurities. Although people do feel and act this way, we don’t get to see Sally actively working against those feelings due to the format of the book. This was still an amazing book and one of my favorites so far this year.
