Characters: Jasper & Solane
Rating: 6 🌟 s
Themes:
Runaway bride, Thoughts of suicide, Anxiety, 6 year age gap, 18 year long friendship turned lovers
Review:
This was my first book by this author and I thought Jasper and Solane's friendship to lovers story was so cute and how Jasper fought his feelings for his friend of eighteen years but then her wedding goes up in shambles when she finds out her fiance was unfaithful before their wedding and Jasper swoops in to save the day and then it goes from there and along the way these two can't fight their feelings for one another anymore. And from there things get angsty and turns into something more between them. Their chemistry is off the charts and the love scenes was spicy hot (so you've been warned). And the ending was typical for a romance book. Overall, I enjoyed the story even though it didn't have too many hockey moments but still loved it nonetheless, so I cannot wait to read the other couples stories within the Chestnut Springs series in the near future.
