Looking for Alaska by John Green

5.0

in some ways we must always be who we were at age 11, because i loved this dumb book then, and man do i still love it now. it's kind of remarkable how much things can change and people can grow and the earth can spin and still at the end of the day i am a weeping girl laying in bed thinking about "we need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken" and feeling grateful for the horrible wonderful business of forgiveness in a cracked-open world. so fuck it, yeah, i love john green
