Deeply poetic and romantic, I can only describe this book as beautiful. Now will you have to read this book several times to understand the plot? Yes, absolutely. However you will fall in love with the main characters by the first chapter. Red and Blue are on the opposite sides of the time war, but leave letters tucked away for each other throughout time. You read as they fall in love with one another across the universe. Though neither of the main characters are human, they have some of the most human conversations. They talk about loneliness, compassion, and destruction. It's short, sweet, and breathtakingly romantic.
