The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

Wow... What a book.

Taylor Jenkins Reid is fast becoming one of my favourite authors after this and Malibu Rising.

This book... I am in awe. I wish I could write something this stunning. It makes you feel so many things. It makes you laugh along with the stars, and cry with them too.

I'm not a huge fan of celebrities and I probably wouldn't have picked up this book if it wasn't raved about. Evelyn Hugo is a fantastic character. Forget the emerald green - she is the shade of morally grey.

But you've got to love her.

I consumed this book. I read it during any free time, thought about it during work, and I even dreamt about it.

"be wary of men with something to prove" "to find that kind of soul mate" "reading your letter felt like gasping for air after being trapped underwater [...] And what does it mean that we have not spoken in a decade but I still hear your voice in my head everyday?"

Just pick it up. Trust me, its brilliant.
