A funny and light-hearted read about two seasonal friends who work in a pumpkin patch.
The art was so gorgeous, and I loved the story and the silliness. It was so great to see diversity and diverse body types in a graphic novel, it isn't something I see often and I really enjoyed it.
After reading this I really am ready for it to be Fall! It's over 100 degrees where I live right now and all I can think about is kettle corn, cornfields, and hayrides.
Seriously though this is such a sweet story! I loved how Deja was so excited about eating, and kept wanting all the snacks. (She is so me!) Josiah gives off such himbo energy, his obliviousness to everything was so charming and likable.
If you want a funny and Fall snack filled read, or just want to see some gorgeous art, I HIGHLY recommend this!
