If you’re in a book hangover from The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy- this is the book for you. Percy and Sam are entirely lovable characters. This is one of my favourite uses of the friends to lovers trope. Also a great use of second chance romance. The lake setting was exactly what I wanted for a summer read- i could picture it perfectly. The chapters flick between the past and present which i’m always a sucker for. I already want to reread this.
