A weirder book than her first but just as interesting. As with Cork Dork, I was totally immersed in Bianca's obsessive learning and research to become a skilled art critic. I am a lover of Art, but admittedly a lot of art (such as modern art) is beyond me. I've always been one of the people to look at a paint splatter and think, "I could do that." What I loved about this book is that it directly addressed that feeling from the perspective of someone else who had felt that way too. I like how this book opens eyes to what challenging art means and what it is to appreciate art. I really enjoyed how it peeled back the layers of an elitist group and made art more accessible.
