Every year, I read all of the Goodreads Choice Awards Best Romance nominees. I always find some new favorites as well as some real duds. 

I also want to point out that this is an incredibly straight selection of books (only The Pairing features a queer main couple, to my knowledge) and I would highly recommend seeking out other types of stories throughout the year.
