This book turned dark fast and the intriguing storyline with the abnormal titan we learned a bit about Mikasa’s backstory and there’s just nothing more I can say about this series so far and I’ve just read the first two I can’t imagine how great the book series will get from here on out. So far this series is perfect

I preferred this one to the first volume and loved how we got to see Mikasa’s backstory

Good story and I really liked it until the fascism started to show.

I enjoyed this volume much more than the first. Mikasa is a compelling character and I liked watching her lead. We find out what happened to Eren after he got swallowed up in the last volume. This is pretty much just the middle and end of the titan attack on their settlement. There’s time to tell, Mikasa’s backstory and her relationship with Eren is pretty much the only emotional element we get here.
