I read the physical book of this while also listening to the audio which was a great experience. I often struggle with poetry style writing, but this was really engaging.

This book was fascinating. I started reading it via audiobook and then half way through, I really wanted to read the physical book so I borrowed it from the library and boy oh boy was that a good idea. The physical book has an atypical format and it is visually so powerful to see the main characters thoughts mapped in that way. The audiobook is equally as compelling since there are multiple narrators and subtle changes in voices really bring you into the head of the main character. I recommend accompanying the audio with the visual because it makes for an all encompassing read. With that being said, as I was reading the audiobook, I didn't feel lost so for those who have visual sensitivities, the audiobook is fantastic on its own.

The main thing I took away from this book was how fascinating it is to be in someone else's mind and that I never want "mind reading" powers. While I did feel like I could relate to the narrator as she inner monologued her way through her day, I also felt like an intruder and considering everything the narrator went through prior to the setting of the book, I felt like she really didn't need someone else invading her space. More than anything, this book made me feel like my insides were on my outside because I have never seen a more accurate portrayal of my inner thoughts.

Unique, interesting read. Experimental formatting and writing style. Felt very real and raw. A good depiction of OCD and trauma.
