This book broke me and it's writing style is really unique and I genuinely felt I was in the head of this woman - going through her day, dealing with the aftermath. Very quick and amazing, although only 4.5 as the style was slightly tricky at times for me and my donkey brain.

The writing style makes it quite confusing and stressful to read, I definitely struggled a bit but I guess that’s the point.

wowww this was good. the way it was written took a little while to get used to: its written in stream of consciousness which sometimes splits into two, so its sometimes tricky to know which part to be reading at which point, but i kind of think thats the whole point, and creates the stifling, clashing effect which perfectly matches an inner monologue. once i was used to it, however, it came really naturally, and i read it in two sittings. i’ve seen a couple reviews talking about reading this as an audiobook which i would find really interesting i think. really evocative and tactile writing. amazing. 4.5 stars
