For a book written 100 years ago, the emotions and outlooks of the characters are relatable, especially toward the end. Like every young person, Amory wants to be something great, although he does not know how. The main character is a bit sophomoric and entitled so he might not resonate with everyone.
Moderate: Alcoholism and Classism
