A fitting sequel to Butterfly Garden and yet much less disturbing. Priya is a lovable yet fierce teen who is just as much a part of the Quantico Three as any outsider could be. The relationship between her and Eddison is perfect and her choice of companions in her new town feels natural. The most shocking parts of this story isn't so much in the "monster" as it is in the quiet moments in between. Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series, even if the "bad guy" for this story was pretty predictable.

I liked the first book but I liked this better. Yes the first book had an interesting concept, but this book was more realistic. It was something I could see happening (tbh probably has).

I fell in love with all the characters. All their stories are all so sad. I loved the touch of the butterflies making there appearance in this book.

I love true crime podcasts and stuff to that nature so seeing the in-depth investigation was wonderful. I also loved see the psychological aspect of the killer.

I have to say it was kind predictable. I started to think logically why it couldn’t be one of the primary suspects. Then I started think it’s probably the person it ended up being.

This book was chefs kiss. I hope the other ones are just as good or even better.
