The journey was great, the destination was so-so... I enjoyed the many layers and red herrings in this mystery, as well as some enjoyable characters. (Two little boys are present when the body is found and enthusiastically decide to "help" search for clues, haha!) The ending is a little anticlimactic though and there's way too much focus on random romance that never actually goes anywhere anyway.

the book was good, however the start was slow, leading to the 3 stars instead of 4. this may be due to my interrupted reading as i read it chapter by chapter to start but also the storyline didn't flow as quickly as I expected it to given the popularity of agatha christie.
however REALLY good as a who dunnit read. the book did keep me constantly guessing the murderer up until the very end. I understand why she is such a good murder mystery write. will definitely read more of her books.

I still prefer Poirot to Marple, but enjoyed this mystery. As usual, I wasn't close to solving it.

Bordering between 3.5 and 4. Really loved this until the abrupt, "twist" ending.

Always great fun to read an Agatha Christie.
