The sequel to the first book, [b:The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules|19135360|The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules|Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1386053397s/19135360.jpg|21587798], this was a sweet read. A group of retirees, aiming for a life filled with more than cups of tea, and incontinence pads.
This is the sort of book you can curl up on the couch and read for a lazy Sunday afternoon. You won't need tissues, or counselling afterwards. It is a happy, easy, amusing read. But it did make you think about how society treats its elderly.
A healthy cast of characters, with a good gender split, although the main character is Martha, the leader of this merry band of modern day Robin Hoods.
Happy to give this book 5 stars.
I highly recommend it.

It's a couple of years since I read the first 'Little Old Lady' book and I really enjoyed that one, so I was hoping for more of the same from this one and I wasn't disappointed. It's a really funny story with great characters and very outlandish, but plausible, plot lines. Martha and her group of pensioner friends once more try to come up with ways to commit large crimes, with the idea of donating most of the proceeds to help those in society who they feel need the most help or support. This time they come up against some scary bikers, as well as a crooked police officer, as they work out who or what to target next. If you have read and enjoyed any of the Jonas Jonasson books, then the Little Old Lady books are for you. There's something about the Swedish sense of humour that appeals to me.

Det hade räckt med första boken... Den här spårar ur så mycket att det inte är roligt längre, och känns mest ganska tjatig.
