You’re never too old to have some fun…. The gang is back as Martha Anderson and her friends, The League of Pensioners are back to their schemes for stealing money from the rich and corrupt and giving money to the poor and elderly. As they travel from Las Vegas back to Sweden they come up with more plans for “fixing society”. As usual things don’t always go according to plan and the gang ends up losing money and diamonds gets mixed up with a motorcycle gang and somehow manage to keep themselves out of prison. It’s an entertaining story that makes you not want to settle when you get old. As I work with geriatric population on a daily basis, I did find quite a bit or humor as well as sad truth about some of the circumstances and misfortunes that befall our elderly population.

کاش وقت و پولم رو صرف کتاب دیگه‌ای می‌کردم. تقریبا تمام نقشه‌ها و عملیاتی که تو کتاب ذکر شده بود [برای من] غیر قابل فهم و گنگ بود.

What a fun and quirky little book. It reads a bit disjointedly because of the translation into English, but it's really quite hilarious--the hijinks of a group that calls themselves the "League of Pensioners" who keep outwitting law enforcement.

4.5* I enjoyed this just as much as the first book. I liked learning more about the personalities of the gang and how their side stories developed. Just as many chuckles at the last book. I still have questions like.. what about the drainpipe!!!

Mildly amusing. The translation was a little clunky in parts. Not the funniest Swedish novel about old people 'not acting their age' that I have read.
