This book talks about a difficult topic that is all too prevalent in our society. The topic is handled in a sensitive, well thought out way. Topics include such important things as: why suicide happens, what the warning signs are, what to do if a friend is suicidal, and how to cope if you lose someone to suicide. It is a tough thing to talk about, but this book says everything that needs to be said. The images vary from famous people who have committed suicide (mentioning who they left behind), parents after their child committed suicide, and teens that are depressed. The book includes hotline numbers and websites that would be of further help. I believe all middle and high school libraries should have this book or one like it!
