Shatter me is the perfect book, it is so amazing and every single twist
except Adam and Juliet dating
I didn’t see coming.
The writing style of the lines scratched out was such an amazing touch and helped me understand Juliet’s crazy mind in such an easy but also interesting way
 
The romance in this book was also SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, I can’t think of any better way it could have been written. It was absolutely amazing.
I would recommend this book so anyone who loves dystopian books and also romance novels. Such an amazing read and a great opener to the series!

Great book for teens who want to get into reading. 

Romance was a little too fast paced for my liking, but it worked well in allowing a softer side of the characters to shine in this dark and dingy world. 

FMC got borderline sexually assaulted tho. Js a warning for people like me who are sensitive to those things. (I skipped that section and there’s nothing wrong with you skipping that part too!)

do just take into account anything I said about this book applies TO ONLY THIS BOOK so yes the cast wasn't diverse but don't take that for the full series

This book surprised me. I thought it was going to be a "steamy" novel a la "shades of grey" and that I would be abandoning it pretty quickly. It turned out to be something else entirely.  Starting in an asylum with a broken teenage girl, that was very well written, it soon became clear that it was set in a dystopian near future and the last few chapters felt more like a superhero back-story than anything else. I am very intrigued to see where this goes in the next book. I liked the characters and the writing style and yes, there were a couple of steamy scenes, but they worked in the context they were placed in and were Ok.
