The author’s voice is so distinctive and beautiful.
It seems predictable at first but I realized I judged much too quickly. The book plays on what seems predictable and rips it out from under you.
I felt that there was a lot of exposition compared to the rest of this first installment, and a lack of solid resolution - it felt like it just ended suddenly. But I am excited to keep reading!

I enjoyed this book a lot! I look forward to reading the next one in the series and learning a bit more about the characters. My only criticism is that I didn’t really rate the ending (but I appreciated why it needed to be this way to lead into the next book).

Shatter me is the perfect book, it is so amazing and every single twist
except Adam and Juliet dating
I didn’t see coming.
The writing style of the lines scratched out was such an amazing touch and helped me understand Juliet’s crazy mind in such an easy but also interesting way

The romance in this book was also SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, I can’t think of any better way it could have been written. It was absolutely amazing.
I would recommend this book so anyone who loves dystopian books and also romance novels. Such an amazing read and a great opener to the series!

I really liked it it is full of action and it kept me captivated! At the beginning it felt to realistic but then I fell in love with it and couldn't stop especially when Juliette and Adam started to escape and I love that she finds people like her at the End (Omega something) and am excited to read the next books because I need to now what happens next! Love Kenji and the other people at Omega they seem so kind! I especially adore Kenji though he seems really perfect!

-foul language

-Sentence fragments through out story

I read this book years ago. I did not remember all the cursing. The romance scenes were a lot more out there than I had remembered. I like the storyline. Within the book there are some sentences that were struck out, indicating thoughts that Juliette thought, but didn’t want to think. This made it a little more difficult to read at times, but I liked the insight into her mind. Toward the end of the book, I kept thinking about the ending of another book. I can’t remember what book it was. I’m thinking it was either a book within the hunger games, divergent, uglies, matched, or under the never sky series. I would like to read the next book in the series.
