This was a very cute fantasy book. I loved seeing all the different magical creatures and how they interacted (Flurry and the Phoenix were the best of course).
The magic system was really cool, I liked that Earth and plants were separated it opened up the realm of possibilities for sure.
Amber is such a little adventurer she really just went for it, and the band of people she gathered along the way are pretty cool. I especially liked seeing Theo grow out of his shell (I'm definitely jealous of his power).
I really liked all the artwork within the book! It really elevated the scenes.

This was such an amazing book to read. Especially after reading the blurb of the book I was intrigued I couldn't wait to read it as I was so excited. And I am so happy that I have read this book. I enjoyed reading this book, the writing style was spectacular. It made it so nice to read. The characters within this book which were so interesting to read. They developed throughout the book, with what they had to go on through this book. With what the characters had to go through in this book it was very intriguing. With everything that on in this book, and with how it ended I will be continuing this series.
