I really loved this book, and it’s my favorite of the series so far. Each new book I read in this series is better than the last, but this one was sooo good! This book is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

I loved the atmosphere and setting in the first half of the book. It had a dark and creepy vibe and I absolutely loved it! This book really helped me understand Gothel more and why she did the things she did. They weren’t all for vanity purposes! 

The Odd Sisters are next! I’m not sure how I feel about them right now, so this will be very interesting! 

I really liked reading this story. It was nice to be able to see more of Gothel's background and what lead her to kidnapping Rapunzel. It helped me to understand her reasoning behind what she did, rather than just being cruel even though what she did was still not entirely appropriate either. It was a nice take on the story.
