This one was recommended to me and I started it w/o reading the description. Well, that was a mistake. For a few chapters (at least 3) I was very concerned that the author was going to try and redeem Nick and I had almost decided to DNF this one when she went to that bachelorette party. Thank goodness that POS got what was coming to him.

Overall, I really enjoyed this short read. Could have done w/o the extended epilogue because we all know I hate when the author decides children are every woman's HEA, but obviously I'm in the minority there.

I'm definitely going to read the next book in the series. Though it's not at the top of my TBR list.

Omg what a book😱😱

Wow just wow what a powerhouse of a book. I don't think I've ever said that about a book I've read like this. I am just speechless in how damn good this book was.

This is my first book by a new arthur for me and dayyyuumm what a book. I can't quit saying that, but this book is one all consuming, action, downright dirty af powerful book.

The 2 main characters King and Drew are two strong individuals that have a connection that we all just dream about in book's. You can feel it in the words in their actions with each other.

I am of very fucking sound mind and body.

“Just for tonight. I’m yours and you’re mine.”

Mercy this book was explosive. This is one book that is a must read and you to will believe when you come to church😉

This is just my opinion and my voluntary review

This is hot, omfg so hot.
She finally makes the decision of getting out of a toxic relationship only to find that same day her equal, her match; but everything is confusing, they have this amazing pull but she needs to get her head straight before she enters anything with anyone else.

Free on audible and I was looking for a mafia adjacent book but this missed the mark. Way to insta-love and it's cheating but the author makes it seem okay since she told her bf they were done before she left for a girls trip but to me wasn't official

I have been craving a dark romance book for a while now and this one hits all the right spots.   Drew is the spunky, feisty bratty FMC, and King is the dark, broody MMC with a soft gooey center for Drew.
The banter is *chefs kiss*
The best friend is #Bestiegoals
I loved everything about this book.

Tropes: Instalove, grumpy sunshine, mafia romance.
