Lots of language, didn't hate it, but also didn't love it

I didn't read it, but listened to the audiobook which was great! Anna Kendrick is very funny and it doesn't disappoint.

Although this wasn't as laugh out loud funny as the other celebrity memoir I read recently ([b:The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo|29405093|The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo|Amy Schumer|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1462657819s/29405093.jpg|48759154]), I still really like Kendrick's humor. I don't love recreational drug use (read: I hate it) so I didn't like hearing about her going to raves and doing ecstasy as a teenager but I got over it to enjoy the rest of the anecdotes of being a child actor, indie actor and now famous actor.

I enjoy her humor. This was very light and fluffy but a good audiobook.

Learning about Kendrick’s career trajectory was interesting, but she joked about being self-indulgent and privileged so much that the book became self-indulgent and privileged.

Pretty quick read, but entertaining. The book reads like Anna Kendrick talks, so it is very easy to imagine her saying everything in this book.
