This was surprisingly conversational and light. Michael's childhood stories were real and heartfelt, but his telling of his adult career seemed less inspired. Still thought it was a great read, though.

I can't get enough of it! Man, I wish it was longer. I really felt like Michael was having a conversation with me while reading this.

A very interesting sliver of a glimpse into the life of Michael Jackson. Truly an amazing man. The more I learn about him the more I love him. And the more angry I become that he was taken from the world. I've been immersed in learning about MJ the past couple weeks and now I think he is one of if not my favourite artists. Not going to rate as I'm not sure how to rate a book about someone talking about their life experiences.

definitely my favorite read of the entire year, obviously

i loved how he gave us insight into his world circa 1988 and before in the Jackson 5 (later The Jacksons.)

how michael is a perfectionist and he put out ‘Off The Wall’ and he wanted to top it, make the best selling album ever, and he achieved it because he believed in himself and kept pushing himself for greatness

how he talked about growing up as a child star, and how he learned everything from the greats to Fred Astaire, Barry Gordy and to Diana Ross .

i wish it wasn’t over and i could spent more time in his head

stream HIStory and Invincible everyone (a.k.a. my favorite michael albums of all time ever) ❤️

Moonwalk is Michael Jackson's one and only autobiography which narrates about his early life from the era of the Jackson Five up until the release of his record breaking album Bad. (Note that it was published in 1988)

This book is a MUST READ for all Moonwalkers. I personally really enjoyed it. It was very a personal encounter of MJ's life, it almost felt like he was next to me and telling me everything. I could pretty much picture this book being read in his voice.

As an autobiography, this book gave me the insight to his life more than any other Online Article or books I have read on MJ. From their 1st record as The Jackson 5 to behind the scenes of tours and album recordings, this book DID NOT DISAPPOINT :). It was brilliant cocktail of emotions. It comes enclosed with lovely photographs as well which are mainly from personal albums.

Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It's worth giving this heart-warming book a chance :)

Michael Jackson is my hero. He’s my #1 idol. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said I wanted to be as big as him, If not bigger. To finally read this book and hear a section of his life through his own voice instead of others was so refreshing, and I could t put it down. He gave me advice that may change the rest of my life. 10 out of 5 stars. If you love Michael Jackson, it’s a must read.
