I really enjoyed Michael's autobiography. Though it obviously isn't the most skillful writing or a shining piece of literature, it was a highly interesting and engaging look into Michael's life and psyche.

I feel an enormous amount of sympathy for this talented and troubled musical genius. In this book, it is so clear that Michael was a massively kind and caring individual, whose heart was certainly in the right place.

Like I said, the writing's not great. Prose, transitions, and organization could all stand to improve. However, these faults may largely be due to the fact that this book is written essentially off of his transcribed interviews with one of the book's editors. Nonetheless, reading this book has made me love and appreciate Michael and his music all the more.

The only autobiography Michael wrote and it was about his childhood up until his life in 1989. I wish we had his words about his life from 1989 until 2009 but I'm happy we have this!
It's very obviously not expertly written as it's just an autobiography and not a work of fiction by an author but it's still very enjoyable. To be able to hear Michaels memories and thoughts from his own words is worth it. Made me really all the hard work he put in and what made him who he became.
