I just love TJR. All of her romances are so sweet and a little heartbreaking. This book was such a cute premise. Can one decision change your whole future?
I'll admit, I was apprehensive to read this story because I love a HEA and I was worried I would not like the ending. But, I did love following both storylines and seeing how each would end. And wouldn't you believe it, my BFF and I both preferred different storylines, so there are people on either side!

I loved how it was a double plot and really went with how one decision could alter the rest of your life. I also loved that each reality had similarities

3.5 rounding to 4. I’m on a TJR kick, mostly because I really like Julia Whelan, her audiobook narrator. This book is so very similar to the movie, Sliding Doors, a concept that I find fascinating and think about all the time. How can a small choice determine the events of our life? And what if we made a different choice? Sliding doors! Enjoyed the going back and forth between the two versions of the protagonist’s life, but I can imagine a reader that might not enjoy that.

Good, but definitely not my favorite that I've read by her. One thing I do love about her books is that they almost all seem to fly by. It definitely feels good after being in a reading slump so long to read a book that quickly.

This book makes an interesting commentary on the idea of "meant to be" - I feel like this would make a good book club book because that would be fun to discuss.

Also, when there's two concurrent story lines, I usually care way more about one and suffer through the other, but I didn't feel that way in this one- I really did enjoy them both, which was impressive! I also liked both the love interests, which is also not super common.

TJR book and pretty stand romcom. It’s basically two romcoms in one because it’s about a girl who makes a decision and then her life plays out in two alternative options / realities. I preferred one of the story lines over the other but liked it. Solid beach read. TJR doesn’thave any smut in her books. This book is really similar to a newtflix romcom that came out recently.

I’ve always loved the idea of tiny decisions being forks in your life ultimately leading you in a completely different direction. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to keep track of the different timelines. I also loved how at its core, this was a story about platonic love withstanding all.

Ultimately, what is meant for you will never pass you, and everything kinda works itself out in the end <3

I was kind of expecting a “It’s a Wonderful Life” situation and was really glad to see that this was not the case. This book I think offers a lot of hope that while some decisions are going to be pivotal and rock your world, you can still have a good outcome.

this is one of those books that left me saying "wow" at the end
I went into this book thinking it was going to be about how when you have a romantic soulmate, they're always going to be the one you end up with but the biggest takeaway for me was just how amazing best friends are and that they are basically your soulmates -- even if platonic
I thought Hannah was going to end up with one person in both storylines but I'm actually glad she didn't
I'm so happy though that no matter the storyline, Hannah and Gabby were always there for each other
