This was a rollercoaster and I want to go again. It made me cry and laugh and I whizzed through it in two days. Definitely going to read more of TJR’s earlier books after this her writing is glorious.

I don't know what it is with TJR's books that just makes me feel so much every time. I started this without knowing anything so I was pretty surprised when I realized where she was going with this one. I loved the concept of this book and TJR never ceases to amaze me with how well she executes these concepts.

I admit this didn't get me hooked as fast as her other books had before. The concurrent storylines also made it difficult at times to remember just what happened. But that could be a me problem, and honestly, I'm still just so amazed by the concept that I consider this as a very minor complaint. The conversations about fate, destiny, soulmates and parallel universes in this book really got me. I also read this thinking it would be focused on romance and I was pleasantly surprised to see it focus not just on romantic love, but also platonic and familial love. And this book was filled with so many thought-provoking lines about life that I just had to stop reading for a moment and reflect on my own. (I don't know about you, but for me, I know it's a good book if it makes me do that.)

I will forever love the moment when I realized that all along, Gabby was her soulmate. The constant in her life no matter what the circumstances. I just really loved the idea that Hannah can go through very different paths in life but still somehow end up with the same constants in her life. Even with not ending up with Henry/Ethan, I loved that she still ends up with both of them in her life. Really makes you think that some people are really destined to be in your life.

this was going to get a 3.5 but the line “my heart breaks for every version of me that didn’t end up with you” made it a 4
