Wasn’t sure what to think at first but got used to the hopping about the very well put together, felt very How To Kill Your Family, easy read and enjoyed the ending

Here is one for the books!

You are accused of murdering your husband. But this is the only murder YOU didn’t commit! She actually committed three. How do you prove your innocence of the one – and, while we are at it – the other three?

And how do we as readers decide we want to root for a murderer character?

Surprisingly we do.

This was one of those books that I could not put down.

The pages turned faster than I could read them, and Ruby’s case (the murderer) was compelling.

A very passive appreciation of death in a calm aspect. Culpability vs causality. Snatched life vs murder. Karma vs injustice.

This book was not what I was expecting, but in a good way. I really loved this writing style and wish she had more fiction books available.

I finished this in less than a day. I was hooked from the first page. I just needed to know what happened with our main character and really grew attached to her. I really enjoyed the chapters with her and Roman. It was refreshing to read about a platonic male/female friendship.

The audibly narrator was also fantastic! Really hope this author puts out more books in the future.

Fun novel about a Psychologist from Miami who also happens to be a serial killer. A relatable serial killer. (I am also a Psychologist in Miami and promise those were the parts I related to!)
The Miami scenes were fun to read and I enjoyed the book. Nothing mind-blowing.

I am still trying to decide how I feel about the ending as it felt a little lacklustre to what I was anticipating but overall I liked the story. The narrative was well written and captivating. The characters were mostly likeable, albeit morally questionable. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good mystery/thriller.

I honestly wouldn’t necessarily say “thriller” . It was more character driven than Thriller . However , it was still a good story line overall
