3⭐️- Meh not good, not bad. I think the book would have been better if they had more significant history because without it, the chemistry initially felt like it lacked a lot. Again, not horrible just felt boring. Decided this author might not be for me.

Avery & Oliver
Single Mum
Firefighter MMC
Childhood friends
Neighbours

Avery and Olivers parents were good friends in the past, until Averys parents moved away for work. Growing up, these two saw each other at Family events.

When Avery first moves back to town, Oliver doesn't recognise her. Until he does. He realises she's the girl he had a massive crush on while growing up!!

I love how obsessed he is with her!!

Avery definitely deserves to be loved and cherished and I adore this book!!

I cannot wait for more in this series 😍

I can’t say enough how much I loved the chemistry between the two of them.

From the time they "meet" for the first time in front of their houses I just knew they were going to be a banging good couple (also literally).

I loved the fact that Ollie immediately took to Nova and wanted to be in her life just as much as he wanted to have Avery on his side. Even when we were shown actions from Avery's POV you could tell that man was not playing around.

And the protectiveness over his girl *swoons*. That man would go through anything for them and I’m so here for it.

Also—Avery is one badass of a mom. She stepped away from something that was making her miserable and knew she wanted better for herself. I admire an aspirational woman. And she did it at the end. Everything fell into the puzzle just how it should have.

I loved reading this book and I can’t believe it’s almost over for this series. I spent a lot of time here and The Greatest Love has not disappointed me once.

Thank you to Hannah Cowan for the ARC.

This book was amazing, I have loved the books I have previously read by Hannah, and this book didn't disappoint. It continued everything i enjoyed about reading Hannah's books.

The characters were amazing, I loved Oliver and Avery. They were the perfect main characters. The connection they had was perfect. I enjoyed the bond that developed between Nova and Oliver.

This book had the romance, banter chemistry, and family vibes I enjoy in books written by Hannah.

cute story! I liked the slow burn, as it was a nice change of pace from what I read before this one. I may have enjoyed it better had I at least read the others in the series first, much less the first generation books, but it was still a good and cute story!

SYNOPSIS:

Avery and her daughter Nova have moved back to Toronto after years. Avery grew up in Sweden, coming to Toronto to visit her parents family and friends. She moved back to Canada years ago from Sweden, and met a guy with whom she had Nova. When that ended, she moved to Toronto. Her new neighbor turns out to be one of the boys she used to visit with her parents over the summers, and he doesn’t remember her. Oliver is one day woken up after a rough shift firefighting to a loud neighbor moving in, and he does not lend the best first impression. After a few run ins with one another, him being a grumpy asshole to her each time, he finally realizes who she is at a family dinner Avery was invited to. He feels horrible for not recognizing the girl he had a major crush on in his childhood. He attempts to make things up to Avery, and he starts to develop his same crush on her. He also grows fond of Nova, her daughter. They begin a tentative relationship in private, discussing what’s the best course of action. But when Nova’s father starts causing a stink over Oliver being around them, she starts to put that on hold. Chris (Nova’s dad), isn’t the best guy, and hurts Nova emotionally. When he gets mad again that Oliver is around them, Avery stands up for herself and Nova and decides to press pause on the relationship with Oliver until that is settled. Oliver is already in love, however. So while Avery deals with a new custody arrangement, still insisting they not see each other, he decides to go for a romantic gesture to show her he isn’t scared off. He finishes setting up her flower shop business, even putting in details that include Nova in the design. Avery comes back from dealing with a new custody arrangement with Chris and finds that she’s in love with him too. In the extended epilogue, we see them married with a little one of their own on the way.
