"Nothing is more dangerous to a single person than what's hidden inside them."

Pretty Boy Pacman. Captain Brayshaw. Father. Protector. Cool, calm, and collected...until he isn't.

God I feel like get so deep into Captain and his personality and all of these struggles he's dealt with for years especially revolving around Zoey. Above us, Cap is a family man and Zoey is his entire world so much that sometimes it blinds him and he can't see and read between the lines.

This book was all about growth for Cap and for every two steps forward he had two steps back but eventually he figured it out and he got the girl.

In a world led by loyalty and trust, a heated blade to the gut burns less than learning of a liar.

I was crazy excited for the release of Be My Brayshaw as 2019s the Boys of Brayshaw High trilogy by Meagan Brandy was absolutely a favorite read of the entire year. I couldn’t wait to dive back into the deep and complex world where nothing is what it seems, and loyalty is everything. And I’m still reeling from a powerful and consuming romance that kept me up all night long.
Family runs deeper than blood.
Words all Brayshaws live and breathe by, another way of saying never trust blind or give loyalty to those who haven’t earned it.

There’s a reason Meagan Brandy is a USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author…and as if she needed to prove just how much she deserves those titles she delivered Be My Brayshaw, the fourth book in the Brayshaw series. This book is absolutely spectacular. It’s a dual POV, coming of age sports romance. I was addicted to this beautifully written story from the very first page as I am sure all readers have been to date.
Everyone pays when they piss off a Brayshaw. Cross one, cross all.

Making assumptions can be very costly and in the world of Brayshaw, they can cost you everything. For Victoria and Cap, that seems to be all they can do as more and more questions arise in their twisted world! As Captain tries to inflict pain on Victoria, he misses out on the truth laying right in front of his eyes. And it’s almost too late when he realizes it all…but Victoria will do all she can to save the man she loves and protect the little girl who stole her heart!
Captain Brayshaw is mine. Period.
He just doesn’t know it yet.

The books in the Brayshaw world are proving to be heartbreaking, steamy and angst filled. They are set in a town full of surprises and just when readers think the mysteries have been laid bare, we see that it was only just the beginning! Meagan Brandy’s created an awe inspiring, exciting world full of twists and turns you don’t want to miss! These stories will torture your soul—in the very best ways—and keep you on the edge of your seat…but they are also incredibly fulfilling and not to be missed!!!
My truths will hurt some, break many, and might just lead one Brayshaw to the grave, but greed is a cunning bastard, and I’m its newest victim.

Although Be My Brayshaw is a standalone story, reading the previous books in the Brayshaw world—Boys of Brayshaw High, Trouble at Brayshaw High, and Reign of Brayshaw—are vital to understanding Captain and Victoria’s storyline. Meagan Brandy did a remarkable job of telling the readers what they needed to know without retelling the entirety of the previously released trilogy. However, it’s my personal opinion that to fully comprehend the story, one must read those before it. Besides, these suspenseful and steamy romances will leave you every bit as consumed as I was and you’ll want to read them all anyway!
Captain Brayshaw. The strong, but guarded brother. Quiet and logical, fierce and loyal to his core is standing in front of me, inviting me into his entire world having no idea I’m woven deeper than he.

Captain oh my fucking Captain.

And Victoria hot damn.

How the fuck does Meagan Brandy keep doing thing to me? She did it again. This evil woman did it again. She was able to make me fall into the world of Brayshaw and not want to come out.

Captain and Victoria were so perfectly crafted that their story couldn't be anything but perfect. The way that they played off each other was done to compete perfection, that there is no other word that can be used to describe them. Ok maybe crazy and maddening can also be used.

Brandy allowed you to see the different sides to the badass that is Victoria. You thought you knew who she was from the first three books, but you had no idea. There was so many different layers to her that were discovered as each page was turned.

Captain was everything that I knew he was. The strong Brayshaw that I wanted to dick punch one minute then hold the next.

This book was everything and more than I could of ever thought Brandy would deliver when I found out that Captain was getting his book. I mean this book had it all:
1. Angst
2. Chemistry off the charts
3. Cute ass hell toddler
4. Alpha males that will make you fan yourself
5. Strong ass female characters that will make you swoon for them
6. Twists and turns you don't see coming
And
7. Angst to the 10th

Now the waiting game begins for Royce's turn.

❤️ Captain & Victoria ❤️
The reason for the 4⭐️ & not 5 is that I felt some plot points were confusing. I had to re-listen to parts several times to catch on to where the story was going. Other than that, I loved Captain & Victoria.

CAPTAIN!!!! Gah!!! I've been waiting for his book and OH MY GOD I love him even more now!! Granted, he was kind of a dick and I wanted to punch him myself lol, but gah, how can you just not love Captain!? Victoria was just amazing. You get to see her role in his daughters life and just why exactly his daughter means so much to her. It really put things into perspective for you because as a parent, you look at an outsider being so attached to your kid with a "why do they have any right acting this way, it's not their child." With that said, I really appreciated the way Meagan wove Victoria into her life, it made you appreciate Victoria all the more and not look at her like she was stepping over a line by being so attached. The hardest part of Cap and Victoria's story was lack of communication. They caused most of their problems together, and that's where that angst comes in. You just want to shake them for being so stupid for not communicating and causing themselves all this drama! That though, is one of my favorite things about reading, when an author can bring out those emotions that make you want to yell at the pages! Meagan pulled out all the feels for me in Cap & Victoria's story and I'm just so freaking happy to be back in Brayshaw world to enjoy it once again!

5 stars for Be My Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy. This is book 4 in the Brayshaw High series. I received an ARC of this book. All opinions stated are my own. Captain, OH Captain. Where do I even begin? This book is one that will stick with me . I am going to continue to think about it and what was revealed for awhile. Victoria is a lot more than I thought she was. These two together are hurt and love all rolled into this ball that is thrown into some serious situations. “I’m tired of dark corners, tired of the background. Tired of losing before I’ve even gotten to compete.” Victoria has had a rough life, but she is ready to for more. She wants the life she knows she deserves, not only that but the life she was meant to have. Her character broke my heart in many ways, but she filled those breaks with love. Captain doesn’t know how to feel about Victoria , he knows she has secrets but what they are could change alot. Can these two move past these secrets or will they stand in their way. “There is nothing you could do that could cut deep enough to make me bleed. I’m hollow, Cap. Torn apart, depleted, and re-stitched with a whole lot of nothing.” We learn alot in this book and not all of it is good. This book was a journey with all the twists and turns. Just like the other books in the Brayshaw series we get secrets, drama, suspense, protective men, and some steamy scenes. I laughed and I even shed some tears. There is one line in this book that fits not only this book but this series to a tee, “Everyone pays when they piss off a Brayshaw. Cross one,Cross All.” Be ready because this book is one epic ride. I can not wait for Royce’s book.
