Another adorable romcom from Amy Award -- and one perfect for anyone who wanted more insight into Taylor Swift x Travis Kelce's relationship. Incredibly corny and punny, positive and healing, empowering and entertaining.  No third act breakup!

📝 This was a fine book but didn't quite grab me. It also didn't really track that the FMC fell for the MMC the way she did? The plot was interesting and kept me engaged. The FMC was kinda confusing to me because she is so clearly an analog for Taylor Swift, but then they explicitly reference that Taylor Swift ALSO exists in this world???

🌶️ 3/5 The scenes were explicit but there were only a couple of them and they didn't really grab me either.

🏳️‍🌈✊ Good fat representation and some light activism stuff. Decently feminist. Some minor character diversity.

🎧 Great performances from both narrators!

I wanted to not like this. This is clearly a fictional accountll of a certain pop singer relationship to a football player, almost feels like plagiarism on how much "borrows" from what's publicly known of that story.
Down to the phone number on a friendship bracelet, tape masters, spoiled cat but as a dog, and dad manager.

Yet, the author managed to insert enough unkown details to make the story interesting. Docked a star for lack of imagination and originality. I really resisted liking it, but cannot deny the tale's appeal.

I loved this! It's a great quick, light read, full of body positivity, and spice! The fat woman gets the big man. I loved Wiener the Pooh, LOL, such a cute little pup. Plus, all the T. Swift references. It also had a decent plot, so it wasn't pointless fluff, but still spicy fluffy.
I never trusted Skeeter, she was working Kelsey too hard from the get-go.

Narrators' Rating: 5.0 stars
Both narrators did an excellent job!

unfortunately i did not like this book as much as the first. i loved the characters but i didn’t connect with it as much as the first and once i realised it was basically a taylor swift x travis kelce fanfic it put me off a little (not that there is anything wrong with that but it took me out of the world a little and it just didn’t hit me like the others). a shame but still enjoyable. one thing i did like was that even though it was grumpy x sunshine, kelsey never actually thought of him as “mean” or grumpy as everyone portrayed him and thought of him as and he nevertrated her that way. i’m excited for everett’s book!
