This for me, was the hardest to get through in the series, and I loved the others! The first half was very slow, but once we got to the second half of the book it picked up and I could get more invested in. The last 100 pages were amazing! I think this book is designed to be build up to the finale. I am hoping the next book is a little quicker paced, but I am very eager to see how the story ends.

This was my least favorite out of all of them so far. It was annoying, I hated each pov swap (I’m fine with two, maybe three but four different POV? Felt like overkill. Just make them their own book at this point.) it was a lot of dragging on just to get to a predictable cliffhanger end (again). I still love this series and I’m praying that the next one redeems itself.

I’m so frustrated with this book!!!! The plot is so slow for the majority of the book while most of the characters are separated. Then at the end all of the conflicts come together with big reveals and a cliffhanger before the final book. I’m so annoyed because we could have taken several hundred pages out of this book and the fourth book and combined them. This series did not need to be drug out into 6 books. And she’s putting Auren through more shit?? That woman has been through enough. Let’s get to the end of this conflict already. Ugh it’s like the twisted sisters and Zodiac Academy all over again. More pages and books doesn’t necessarily equal a better story.
