I thought it was cute; kinda lagged towards the middle of the book, but it was still a fun silly time. I really liked the magic aspects of it.

-1 🌟 for Harry Potter references. They were cheap.

I was hoping for a fun and witchy read to get into the spirit, but this was not the book for me. I thought the overall storyline was cute, giving the book incredible potential but I did not enjoy the characters' personalities or the way they were presented. I felt zero connection to the characters and at times the writing felt crass.

A delightfully fun read that gave me Halloweentown x Practical Magic vibes.

I found this book to be a fairly interesting plot but I would not recommend the audiobook. The narrator doesn’t differentiate between voices, doesn’t use the accents of characters and has a really odd and off putting inflection in her sentences. With the narration aside, I thought the author relied a little too heavily on cursing and at time was a bit too crass. It seemed to be trying too hard when she had a good story but she took away from it a little for me.

This is a fairly goofy romance that I read in a day. Fun, sugary, and the cat made me laugh. The protagonists are charming and so is the small town it’s set in. Fun and fluffy, doing exactly what it is supposed to, and definitely read this of you need a bit of cheering up.
