A beautiful read, and I feel like it came to me at just the right time. I wish it was (much) longer, as there is so much quality material here (would be 5 stars otherwise).

I read this at the moment I needed to (thank you, Rachel for the rec). If it was made in to a movie, i see two options: it would either be a pretty straight forward small group devotional video that is like 20 minutes and had 5 reflection questions at the end. But more interestingly and true to the life that Henri Nouwen lived, I could see it being a really sophisticated bio pic that delves in to the ministry of Nouwen and the many people impacted by who we was, paying particular attention to the way he approached money and security. But like, directed by Terrence Malick ☺️ ala A Hidden Life.

For a book that's only 60 pages, this is a great nugget of wisdom for those that raise financial support for their ministry. If you ever get down in the dumps in the midst of support raising, whip this book out and take an hour to adjust your heart and mind to these truths.

Fantastic short read for anyone who fundraises in ministry. Nouwen was a brilliant spiritual writer whose work has consistently moved and challenged me, so I was delighted to see this offering. I am going to encourage everyone in my campus ministry organization to read it.
