This book was f*ing delightful. I know nothing about the real Sidney Poitier and I had an amazing time reading this book. Absurd plot and silly characters had me giggling every time I picked it up.

Nobody in the game is having more fun than Percival Everett, who casts himself in this novel and just drags himself about, among a dozen other even more exciting tricks.

Hilarious and yet pointed. I think if I were more familiar with the films of Sidney Poitier, I'd have gone for all five stars.
