I found myself immersed in London below and wanting to explore it further! The edition I listened to also had the short story how the marquis got his coat back, which was a great edition. Although there were some dark and challenging portions of the book, the plot and characters were easy to fall back into. I enjoyed that London below is where the folks who "slip through the cracks" end up and the nitty gritty version of their stories, although fantastical are honestly a bit relatable.
Graphic: Torture
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts and Suicide
