I’m not really sure what the point of this book was. For being the first goth book ever, it was short and included very minimal information about the handful of bands included. Mainly interview excerpts with snarky annotations by the author that brought nothing more to the table. There weren’t many pictures either, which was what I was looking most forward to. I’m not sure where the 311 pictures are because there were 7 at most in the version I got. 
Though I did like the All About Eve chapter as they’re one of my favourite bands of all time, but that’s about it.
