This was an entertaining story about Joan and Theo, and a magical academy. This story started slow for me, but went fast once things started getting interesting. I enjoyed the supporting characters and their view on the "human" world. I'm and interested to see where this series goes next.

Book review of Her White Wolf by Melody Rose ...
Joan is fierce but sad and Theo is A LOT to take in and not always in a good way.
Joan just wants to be the best baker she can and get away from her horrible family. She also has a great love for animals and an apparent affinity for them
Theo is a rich brat of a total who has too much latitude a d parent issues. He can be unbelievably polite on minute and mean beyond belief another
Can they find common ground and learn to tolerate each other or will their relationship always be adversarial?
I guess we will just have to see ...

I liked the concept of Her White wolf a lot and loved a lot of the characters like Joan. But on the downside I didn't like Theo very much I hate giving a book anything under 4 stars but I had to with this one. I will be getting the other books in the series though to see what will happen and how Theo will redeem himself
